A. Compression Brakes Unlawful. Use within the town limits of compression brakes is declared to be a public nuisance and use of such brakes within the town limits shall be prohibited, unless the noise created by the compression system is adequately muffled.

B. Violation – Penalty. Violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by up to a $1,000 fine and/or 90 days in jail or as established in the most current fee resolution. [Ord. 579 § 1 (7.03), 2019; Ord. 537 § 1 (7.03), 2014.]
