Issuance of a license pursuant to this chapter does not constitute the creation of any duty by the town to indemnify the licensee for any wrongful acts against the public or any individual, or to guarantee the quality of goods, services, or expertise of a licensee. The issuance of a license does not shift responsibility from the licensee to the town for proper training, conduct, or equipment of the licensee or his/her agents, employees or representatives.
