The town mayor shall appoint a town clerk, town clerk-treasurer, town deputy clerk-treasurer (town treasurer is an elected position per RCW 35.27.070), town engineer and town attorney to perform such appropriate duties as requested by the council, mayor, or other authorized personnel.
