A. It is unlawful for anyone to engage in business in the town without having first obtained a business license from the town and paid the fees prescribed in this chapter.

B. For purposes of the license issued under this chapter, a person or business whose annual value of products, gross proceeds of sales, or gross income of the business in the town is equal to or less than $2,000, and who does not maintain a place of business within the town, is exempt from the town’s business license registration. The threshold does not apply to regulatory license requirements or activities that require a specialized permit. [Ord. 606 § 2 (Exh. A), 2021.]
