In all actions before such police justice for the violation of any portion of an ordinance for the town of South Prairie, if the defendant is adjudged guilty, the police justice shall declare and assess all of the costs of prosecution in such action against the defendant, and shall add the amount thereof to the judgment, which costs shall be the same as that provided by law in court of justices of the peace.
