A. Streets must be designed to facilitate drainage and storm water runoff, and street grades must conform as closely as practicable to the original topography.

B. The maximum grade at any point on a street must not exceed 15 percent unless no other practicable alternative is available. However, in no case may streets be constructed with grades that create a substantial danger to the public safety in the professional opinion of the town engineer. [Ord. 378 § 2 (Exh. 1), 1999.]
