A. A clearing and grading permit shall be issued only after compliance with the requirements of this chapter and the deposit with the town treasurer of permit fees for plan review, inspection, and related expense.

B. Any permit granted under this chapter shall expire one year from the date of issuance; provided, however, that the town engineer may set specific limits to the permit if it is advisable to do so. Upon a showing of good cause, a permit may be extended for one 12-month period. [Ord. 378 § 2 (Exh. 1), 1999.]
