A. If the type of development activity proposed does not trigger the need for a permit required by SPMC Title 15 (Zoning) or Chapter 15.74 (Streets), 15.76 (Utilities), 15.78 (Drainage, Erosion Control and Storm Water Management), or 15.80 (Building Code) SPMC, then the property owner shall submit an application for a development permit on forms furnished by the town of South Prairie for review under this chapter. In addition to the application requirements of SPMC 15.08.060, the following information is required for this development permit:

1. Elevation in relation to mean sea level of the lowest floor (including basement) of all structures recorded on a current elevation certificate (FF 81-31) with Section B completed by the town planner (see SPMC 15.08.020);

2. Elevation in relation to mean sea level to which any structure has been floodproofed;

3. Certification by a registered professional engineer or architect that the floodproofing methods for any nonresidential structure meet floodproofing criteria in SPMC 15.16.300;

4. Description of the extent to which a watercourse will be altered or relocated as a result of proposed development; and

5. Provide a critical areas study, including the special flood hazard boundary, prepared by a qualified professional pursuant to the town of South Prairie Shoreline Master Program, Appendix B, Section 1.4.

B. If the type of development activity triggers the need for a permit under SPMC Title 15 or Title 17, then in addition to the requirements in the applicable codes/ordinances for a complete permit, the applicant shall also submit the information described in subsections (A)(1) through (A)(4) of this section.
