The Legislature of the state of Washington has delegated the responsibility to local governmental units to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry (Chapter 86.16 RCW). This chapter has been adopted by the town council of the town of South Prairie pursuant to such authority. [Ord. 556 § 2, 2017.]
