In granting, revising, or extending a shoreline permit, the town may attach such conditions, modifications, or restrictions thereto regarding the location, character, and other elements of the proposed development deemed necessary to assure that the development will be consistent with the policy and provisions of the Act and this SMP, as well as the supplemental authority provided in Chapter 43.21C RCW, as applicable. In cases involving unusual circumstances or uncertain effects, a condition may be imposed to require monitoring with future review or re-evaluation to assure conformance with the Act and this SMP. If the monitoring plan is not implemented, the permittee may be found to be noncompliant and the permit may be rescinded. [Ord. 580 Att. A § 7.11, 2019.]
