All proposed uses, activities, and development occurring within shoreline jurisdiction (See SPMC 15.14.180 for the definition of “shoreline jurisdiction”) must conform to the intent and requirements of Chapter 90.58 RCW, the Act, and this SMP, whether or not a permit or other form of authorization is required.

As recognized by RCW 90.58.350, the provisions of this SMP shall not affect treaty rights of Indian nations or tribes. [Ord. 580 Att. A § 1.3, 2019.]
